Home Inspectors in Prince Frederick, MD

home inspectors in prince frederick, maryland serving calvert county

The County Seat of Calvert County, known for its history dating back to 1722 when officials decided on a plot of land called “Williams’ Old Field” as the site where their new courthouse would be built. This settlement later became famous with an upscale dining restaurant named after it and one street in particular- ‘Oldfield Lane’.

The Solomons Island Road is a major north-south artery through Prince Frederick and carries two Maryland Route designations: MD 2, which runs from Baltimore to Solomons; while 4 continues on as an extension of PA Ave., connecting with Washington D.C.’s nearby bridge over the Patuxent River before continuing onto St Mary’s County where it becomes known locally as “Theailing Highway.”

There are some fantastic views along this road including one right outside City limits where you can see both Deal Bay & trillions upon trillion stars at night!

Highland Home Inspections has been in business since 1989.

Born out of a love relationship with the 100-year-old farmhouse Rick Belliveau bought after moving to Maryland, Rick combined his electrical engineering knowledge, US Navy submarine experience, and natural teaching ability to conduct pre-purchase home inspections for friends and relatives. He attended the Property Inspectors Training Institute course and quickly pursued the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) membership and certification while doing many more inspections on a part-time basis. The growing demand for his inspections resulted in a career move from Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory to a full-time inspections service.

HHI now averages more than 2,000 inspections a year. Over the years, Rick has grown the company to include 10 certified and licensed home inspectors, as well as 2 full-time office managers to quickly meet caller’s needs. The offices are located in Highland, Maryland in Howard County and Prince Frederick, Maryland in Calvert County.

The Highland Home Inspection team is second to none.
